St. Mark's "Heart of Heritage" Festival

St. Mark's "Heart of Heritage" Festival as part of the “Australian Heritage Festival” offers numerous events over the weekend. NEW for this year are displays and demonstrations of heritage crafts from various forms of quilting to lacework, spinning and weaving, tatting, beading and smocking to name a few.
Guided Tours of the 1868 Church will be offered on SUNDAY at 11am, Noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. $2 per person. showcasing recent renovations and featuring the Bustard designed stained glass windows, Richard Suter’s architecture and the 1962 Memorial organ and Chime of Bells will be offered by Parishioners. Heritage Tea Rooms will offer traditional country baking.
There will also be opportunities to hear the Memorial Organ, restored in 2009 and the Chime of Bells, dedicated in 1962.
The onsite "Heritage Tea Rooms" will offer affordable morning and afternoon teas with delicious country home baking and a more substantial lunch menu throughout the weekend. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available.
